Wrong, B44 arms are stiffer then B4.1 arms. Different material.

Cool thanks,
why would running a stiffer arm be better?

As for flex the B4.1 and B44 are not the same. B44 arms have a little less flex then a B4.1 arm.

Softest arm to hardest are:

B4.1 plastic arms #9582
B44 arms #9764
B4 Carbon arms #9583
This is what you're looking for.

You can adjust the amount of traction with the stiffness of the arms...just a fine tuning tool.

Carbon B4 stiffest and best for very high traction conditions

B4.1 Softer then carbon best for med traction

B44.1 softest , best for low traction

I have had those in the know claim different ....

Not a 100% answer , sorry ..
personally use B44.1 arms on low traction.

Some of the confusion is B44.1 arms use to be made of the original B4 plastic.

They have now switched to the the B4.1 plastic a while ago ...

Still, examine the two arms and notice the B44.1 arm is thinner & trimmer ..

b44.1 rears are stiffer than the b4.1 arms.

I only felt a diff when the car was all carbon, well...arms, u brace, nose plate and rack. Right now I'm running the carbon rack, nose, and rear arm and my car feels the same as it did with plastic. Maybe a little more reactive....maybe.

Dont the team drivers always run the b44 rear arms? High bite, low bite? Maybe not blue groove though. I would assume carbon would be best.

Default Big Bore Spring Effects

I searched, but I am not sure I found the answer to my question...

If you convert to big bore springs, does this take away some of the "slap" from big jumps? Or does this merely take away the rubbing of the springs on the shock bodies?

Thanks,
JB

IMO, wouldn't say it takes away the slap but there's definitely less progressive feel of the springs. Sounds like a setup issue for the track...
