I am using the slipper spring that I've been using since I have had the car.
Cherry

Installed my FactoryOne shock bushings yesterday before racing along with their o-rings and my car has never felt so good. I barely lost the tq mainly due to lap traffic parking in front of me so i lost it by half a second. I wasnt worried since i had the fastest laps and i knew i could take the win in the main. So i started second on the grid and stayed on firsts bumper for the first 3 or 4 laps until he crumbled from the pressure while trying to accelerate on the straight after our drop off and got into the pipe, i drove on by and took the victory in our mod buggy class after the 6 minute main. The main areas i noticed improvements were entering corners and through the corners, the car felt more controllable and the same every time lap after lap. This seems to be the usual with their shock bushings. I sure dont want to take them out but if people want to see a better before and after lap time average i guess i could go through the trouble of putting my b4 through that torture .
The track conditions were horrible for whatever reason, the watering was very inconsistent and not enough after each round and the track was the loosest its ever been since the normal track crew was at a local on-road race.
I recommend the FactoryOne shock bushings to any racer that is looking for that little bit of an extra edge on the competition. I might be one of the few that is going to stick with the v2 shocks but mostly for weight savings and i have no issues with these shocks especially now that i have these bushings installed.

Good to hear Eli. I take it these FO bushings don't need to be sanded like the stock ones?

To be honest with you i cant answer that question. What end thickness did you end up with on your stock v2 spacers?

Hey Guys,

I did a search but seems I'm in a minority racing an RTR buggy with a gear diff.

I'm struggling with really bad understeer through a very long 200+ degree corner at the track and then also with the rear snapping under power and losing the rear end.

I am, as I said, running with a gear diff and was wondering what diff oil should be ball park for a very slippery hard dusty clay track. I've got 5,000 in it now and was going to try 3,000, but is that still too heavy?

My mate let me drive his 22 buggy, and I was really able to throw the thing around and it had WAY more steering than my car. I'm not a bad driver, but I have no confidence in this car and my consistency is RUBBISH even though my fast laps are very reasonable, it's all about losing the rear end and getting stuck on pipe.

Thanks!
