I just switched from a 34/72 to 75/32 with a revtech 17.5 and blinky mode and I'm liking the new gearing better. If I remember correctly after about 10 mins on the track my motor came off at around 150 and esc just a little over 100......

there is no way 20/81 is boosted...i ran 72/29 boosted with a 13.5. I have never really paid too much attention to the manuals for gearing recommendations, especially with brushless.

I run a 27/75 on one track
and
30/75 on another track.

both 13.5T blinky mode

I didn't notice any difference there but then again the track I run at is a small indoor clay track and the newest layout there was no straight (track is being redone and being built bigger) long enough for me to test out the top end on either gearing....So I geared for more torque......

Thats funny. I dont care who you are! I havent done that yet but I ruined a good shirt in Feb getting ready for PNB. I glued like 10 sets of 1/8 scale tires one day. I hate glueing tires.

Wildcat, I sent you a PM.

I've owned all 3 hexes and the AVID are by far the best of the hexes. You don't have to worry about tight-ness and they just work.
