There are a couple ways you can go since you have the Gen I tranny (black case original tranny on both cars).
Option 1: The expensive way is to actually put the CR rear end on the car which actually gives you quick change rear tires (lever to take tires off instead of a nut.)
Option 2: The other way which will be much cheaper for you is to use the MF2 QC adapters which allows you to use the QC wheels but still use a nut to take the tire off.
Option 1 parts:
LOSA3029 axle
LOSA3161 CV joint parts
LOSA3028 Axle
LOSA6943 bearing
LOSA2122 alum hubs
LOSA6945 bearing
LOSA3102 Hex adapter
LOSA3103 Lever
LOSA2139 or LOSA9812 VLA rear arm
Option 2 parts:
LOSA3031 GenII Axle
LOSA2995 QC wheel adapters
This is assuming you are using losi universals on the MF1 and RTR kit. I don't beleive either came with CVD's but if they did you would need to change them out to losi universals.
The other thing is you could change to the VLA rear end at this time but it is not necessary for this change. You would need new rear arms and hubs to conver to the VLA rear end but to be honest we almost exclusivly use the MF1 RTR stock positions so this is not necessary.
For the front end of both trucks you will need to get LOSA1024 front axles as they have the proper offset to run the QC wheels up front.
Hopefully this helps!
Lastly if you do have a MF2 with the gray tranny all you need is the LOSA1024 front axles and the LOSA2995 QC wheel adapters but you still have nuts in the rear. No way to put the lever rear end on the MF2 without changing out the tranny (huge expense) or finding a way to shorten the TCR bones! (not easy) and your rear end will be very narrow when you are done.

thanx ..a question
got a stupid question .. i have the truck runnin pretty decent .. lot more fine tuning ahead but when i gun it full throttle it kicks to one side in the rear . then its hard to steer til i pull it straight on the control then it kind of goes correct ..but every time if im goin semi slow and punch it , it only kicks to the same side back ..what the hell is wrong.. adjusted wheels ,shocks ,everything looks fine ..dont know?

?
i checked the shocks they r ok ..looks like bearings are ok in rear and front spin freely ..steering trim is set straight .. looks like passenger side grabs and driver side rear doesnt .. ..initial punch pulls to right from a stand still to throttle .but when i go to the driver rear wheel feels ok with the gearbox and slipper ... who knows ..any ideas .. checked everything ..even tightened and loosened wheels different ways .. maybe gearbox somehow?

I'm betting its the motor spinning up so hard. my rustler seems to do this now with my new 8.5 motor. But i'm also tending to break the back end loose due too loose surface.

?
it could be but its weird .. it does it while im drivin and when punching ,it does it while doin like 15 mph or whatever ..if it is that should i dial it down or something ..any ideas to know for sure what the hell it is ... thinkn i might put the whole setup in another truck and see what it does ..

ok so
well i took all electronics out and put them in another xxxt ,,and what do u know it didnt do it .. so i had a new rebuilt tranny i bought while ago and put that in the original xxxt with same electronics and it didnt do it again ..therefore its the tranny .. so what the hell u think it is now ? what do i need to rebuild it like bulletproof if there is such a thing .. and i cracked a driveshaft ..the pin fell out ,looked at it and was cracked by the inside of the rear hub by the inner bearing .. what r the best ones to replace the driveshafts with both sides?? this is like a soap story lol.. hey i keep every1 busy reading lol.. thanx guys
