Default new motor?

I need a new motor for my 1/10 buggy, and I run a novak havoc spec esc. I hear I can only run novak motors but I can get an awsome price on a trinity nemesis motor. Will this esc/motor work together?

the ESC will only operate with brushless motors that have built-in thermal protection that follow ROAR guidelines. if the trinity nemesis motor has built in thermal protection then it will work.

I know that, but no company advertises built in thermal protection, so its trial and error, and I'm wondering if anyone has tried it, wether it works or not, I want to know

Raced my havok with a speed passion, Tekin and novak... all the motors cut-off before 180deg but they all reacted the same.
