www.hobbyking.com

Turnigy, Zippy or Flightmax for the battery.

They have several chargers. These chargers are the same as many other companies stick their name on and charge 2-4x as much for them.

They are good value for money and the batteries are good quality from Hobbyking. 15c I'd say is a bit low to be honest, I'd go for atleast 20c. They do a 5000 3s 25C Flightmax for $37.20 which will be good (can't post a link as I don't have enough posts sorry)

Might be a bit of a squeeze in the rustler though so may require the expansion kit.

yea i was thinking 15c is to low. thats pretty good for a 3s 5000mah 20c lipo. i dont mind doing the expansion kit. i might first go to my lhs and do some fit test with thier lipo batterys. try different ones to see which ones fit and dont fit.

A 50watt charger will limit current when charging a 3S 5000mah liposince a 3S takes more power that the charger outputs. You need to get something with at least 100watt of output power or be satisfied with your 3S charging taking longer to finish charging.

Are you looking for a DC or an AC/DC powered charger? That will decide which ones are possible charger's you'd be interested in.

ok, i'll keep that in mind about the wattage. i will get one with atleast 100 watts. well, i would like a charger that can hook up off a car battery and 110 in the house.

Then you'll want an AC/DC charger. Its the only kind that'll do both.

There are a lot of 50watt AC/DC chargers, but only a few that have 80watt or more. The Dynamite Passport Ultra is an AC/DC 100watt charger ($130). The TritonEQ 2 is also a 100watt charger ($200).

Hyperion is upgrading the power in their 0606i chargers to 80 or 90watts, but I don't know when those are going to be available, prehaps in June?

I've bought from both RCMart and HobbyKing. I prefer HobbyKing, prices seem to be better. Service has been about the same for me from either.
