Default Lipo Reading Analysis

Upon Lipo cutoff (@ 3.7v setting), the reading for my 4S pack is as follows:

3.65 - 3.62 - 3.70 - 3.59

This pack still usable? or not good anymore?
Mind you this pack is slightly "puffed". I have put about 5 cycles since I noticed it as being puffed.

Yes it's fine. All Lipo will puff in time to come. Just make sure they dun overheat or overdraw so their life will not be shorten

I personally wouldn't even use it if it's puffed. But that's just me.

I'm just bashing, if that helps.

If this was in a hardcase, would I notice the slight puffiness? Would the hardcase make it harder for a physical determination of it being "puffed"?

As long as the puffing is not getting noticeably worse, its ok to use. I've seen some that would puff up and the go down as you used them and charged them. Just watch it for getting worse......

Judging by the voltage of the cells, you should be fine. As long as they're all above 3.0v, in theory they should all be fine.

Ok, the slight puffing seems to be about the same (not worse).

A puffing pack is a puffin pack.. racing or bashing it's your ride you are risking. Personally I would toss any pack that has puffed, since that is not how they are supposed to be. Lipos can be had for cheap, not worth my $500.00 truck or electronics IMO. Do what you want though... Just don't keep them in the house without being in an ammo can or lipo sack.

I've had hardcase and stick pack shaped cases puff. Still use them. Some will loose the puff, some don't. They still run the same as the non puffed packs.

I run mine, but that's my call as it is yours on your batteries.

I always balance charge...no sack needed...

did anyone ever read the warning on the battery in your real car?....
