Default NEW rustler shocks!!

I need new front rustler 1/10 vxl shocks. I just popped a cap and lost all my oil. If u get alliminum shock caps, they say that I may need alliminum shock bodies, and I no I would need new shock shafts. Are there any non traxxas alluminum good schocks? I really don't like traxxas shocks

the traxxas big bores are good shocks but kinda expensive you can use losi shocks as well(they are good shocks and can be found cheap on the bay

Losi 8ight front shocks mount up w/ out too much effort on the rear of the Rusty and jato/erevo shocks work nice on the front. I forget what disc and oils at this point.. but they do a great job iMO. Obviously use jato springs and disc's, this is an old picture as it's been years since I sold it... but it looks like yellow jato springs.

If you buy the Traxxas Aluminum shock caps you will not need to get aluminum bodies. Once you switch to the aluminum caps you will never blow a shock again. That is the most common upgrade we do to the Slash besides the RPM rear carriers.

That's a bold statement.

I have found it to be true on my Slash. As long as your shocks are built right and your using the Aluminum caps you should not have any more problems mainly on a Rustler.
