Default Traxxas Slash 4x4 Center Diff Help

I am building a slash 4x4 and I cant seem to get the center diff back together correctly. Every time I tighten up the screws it wont turn by hand. If I leave the screws loose then all is good. Can someone please help.

Make sure that when you put it together that the two metal plates that hold the little bar and gears together are turned so that the rounded edges are facing out. If they are not it will bind.

Then do you just snug the screws up or tighten them down?

Yes, The gears actually get to sit a little wider because the plates sit deeper in the slots. So when the endbell gear with the cover is tightened down there is more room between the teeth.

Sorry about the gasket, mine was doing the same thing that yours was doing and turning the plates around fixed mine. I don't know anything else that might help.
