Unhappy Rookie needs help w/brushless ezrun setup

I have a slash 2wd with a ezrun 9t 35ecs. Upon deceleration the wheels lock up causing the truck to spin out. Please excuse my ignorance as I am new to this hobby. Do not understand what timing is on electric motors. I feel it should free wheel until i apply the brake. Thanks

Put the drag brake force to 0%, let the brake force to 100% and set up the brake force with your controler (I put the brake throttle to 75/80%)
