RC Scoring Pro: I'm not too sure what you mean when you mentioned "their new change in the racing division"? It was pointed out on another forum that last year the full team made it because the race was also a Pre- IFMAR World's warm-up which then makes a lot of sense. Could also be that their plate is full with big races such as the Off-Road Gas Nationals in less than three weeks (where some say a new GT might make it's debut!), the Reedy Touring Car Race of Champions next month, plus the ROAR Off-Road Nationals in early June.

Aaron Waldron - Definitely no need to worry about that!

Racer_Chick: Just like during the IFMAR Off-Road World's last year, A BIG Thanks for your cool Pics! Hope to one day get to visit and practice/race at Minnreg! The track and it's crew definitely are WORLD CLASS!!!

Stealth, This is an excerpt from the last Associated newsletter.

2. ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Brent Thielke Assumes Racing Team Manager Position at Associated

We at Team Associated would like to introduce Brent Thielke (THELL kee).
Brent, of Gilbert, Arizona, is relocating to Associated's Southern
California offices to assume the responsibilities of our Racing Team
Manager.

He is a well-known off road specialist who has been racing for Team
Associated for the past four years, with solid A-Main finishes in the truck
and buggy classes at the past two Cactus Classis races, and has a NORRCA
National Expert Mod title to his credit.

The 28-year-old Thielke graduated from Arizona State University with a BS
in Management, and is enthusiastic about his new position at Team
Associated. One of his goals is to shift the emphasis and focus on the Team
toward more regional events, and to actively seek out and cultivate new
regional talent.

What's the new truck body I see a lot of the Losi Guys running? Maybe what's going to be showing up in a new Kit soon?

jkerr - That's the new electric truck body for the XXX-T MF2.

Adam called here earlier..said it's the most dialed body he's ever run. WAY more traction.

The GT will not debut in Vegas next month. A friend of mine recently interviewed at AE for an engineering position, and was told that he'd be working on the new gas truck.

AE had JR Mitch, Jason Ruona, Ryan Eckert, and Kyle Skidmore there..Travis races for Losi now, Billy doesn't race anymore, and Mark and Jared were at Pro-Line for the Saturday Series race.
