Questions?? Noob on the course

Just took my slash 2w out for the first time. WOW what a blast, but have some Q's. It doesnt seem much to fully compress my shocks, small jumps, hard turns, even braking, they are all factory set still. Is this the norm for factory specs? Or do i need a heavier oil, different placement? Also if i change my radio from 50/50 to 70/30 do I really need to reprogram the ESC? If so do i just do it like i was syching a new radio? Thank you for any help provided

-Noob on course

Not sure of your esc radio but you should not have to reprogram it, it would most likely just go right back to how it is now except the radio settings would be off.?

At out track they are changing to thicker oil. 40 and 50 weight if I'm not mistaken..

Good luck, go fast and try not to crash!

ditto... not sure about the radio, but I know it's all clearly explained in the manual.

40-50w is what most run at my track too. Stock oil is probably 25-30, just a guess...

just a suggestion: stick some packing tape under the wheel wells-- reason being, after time and with the tires constantly hitting the underside of the body, it'll wear the inside of the body and eventually wear right through. I agree, they are loads of fun. Re:shock compression-you can always add/remove spacers that come with the kit.
