Just picked up one of those yesterday. Are the rear shocks supposed to be in front or in back of the shock tower?

Does anyone know where I can download the manual for the SX2?
The link on racing-cars.com is not working.

Thanks

I have not driven a sx3 to compare off of. But compared to stick pack the car seems more balanced in the air. It is a little lighter on the rear so might have to tune her more. But so far liking it compared to the stick setup.

Time to wake up an old thread.

Looking to get my SX turned SX2 race ready soon.

I am in need of a setup that will be good for out door dirt with medium traction and dust off line. I will be running a 5.5t LRP motor and an LRP speedo.

I have the big bore shocks, I have printed off one of Si Moss's set up sheets for high traction clay, but think I will need something more suited to outdoor lower traction conditions.

I hope someone will have a setup or a place to look for one, for this older car.

Darn, I was hoping there were still a few SX2ers out there.
I will try asking in SX3 thread.

Sorry for late reply - try to look into these setups http://www.petitrc.com/setup/schumac...cherCatSX.html
Sometime what is medium/high grip for one is low/medium for another in his eyes so it's difficult to have definite answer which setup will be best for you

Does the new SX3 bulldog shell fit the SX2?
If not what after market shells do?

Default SX2 with saddles

hi, i just want to share my SX2 mod to saddle packs battery. The reason of doing this was that i had pleny of saddles (for my other two B44&B44.1) and only one punched Lipo stick for my SX2... Therefore i got an idea to adopt saddles to my favorite Shumi car :-) BElow is the result. The only one disadventage i can see so far is ESC's fun which i had to shift a bit, and mount only with two screws... i need to think how to fix it.

For this mod i used one LiPo strap (right side) and LiPo posts taken from my B44 :-) Second strap was made by myself. I had to move it up a bit to make a space for belt bu placing some 3mm rubber as a spacer.

Regarding the weight balance i'm not sure if it is perfectly adjusted as now i have one battery, servo and "part" of the motor sitting on the right side... but anyway i enjoyed this work.

as this is one of my first post here i cannot insert direct links yet, just copy below and paste into browser: imageshack.us/g/1/9868594/

cheers
