It's going to have the same update's the Bk2 has.
Pivot points at the end of the arms, different rear end causing more forward bite and a different ratio tranny. They will be keeping the Red and applying aluminum Shock Collars.
Thats about it.Why change a good thing.
Funny thing is all the people that are new to this or guys running on loose dirt tracks. The Bk2 almost yields NO BENEFIT for most people. The car was designed for hardpacked clay tracks. It cracks me up that the guys dumped their Bk1's for nothing to get a Bk2 to see NO differences at all.Actually alot of them went back to their older car due to being use to it and not wanting to spend the time to learn the newwer car.
But the benefits of more forward bite were for tracks that you could actually get more and notice it.
Alot of the tracks in america saw NO benefit from the newwer car. While a great design just because it's "NEW" doesnt always mean it's better.
If you like the new truck than by all means snatch one up.You wont go wrong either way.

it was not run
I was there, it did not appear to be the new truck
I was told it wasn't the new truck
I looked at it pretty closely and didn't see the new tranny being used.
with all that being said, sources indicate mid to late May on release of the new truck
Kinwald still won, smooth as butter

I know Matt was running a Origianl XXXT MF. A buddy of mine knows him and I was shocked to know he was using the older style truck.
I know of a few guy in Ohio/Indiana have modded their trucks and have used the new tranny in it. It workes great for them...

Losi MF2
Well, for the most part it's probably just a converted BK2. Here are pictures of the new truck and body from the Losi race taking place right now in Florida:
