I already checked the 22 and its way smaller. I was thinking of trying this. The person at Amain measured themand said 7mm and I believe the Durango is around 4mm but I could be wrong.

Doesn't matter how you build them, they will still pop off!

Original Durango 410 owners will know what I'm talking about.

Tc5/hip ball studs with Lodi white cups are the preferred option

Really? We have a 2010 spec and 2 DESCs with stock ballcups and while a few have popped off, any brand would have in the impacts.

Nope... its more like 3mm. I can measure tonight when I get home, however my plastic calipers are less than perfect.

We have over 8 DEX410's (2010 spec & V2's, no V3's yet) & 4 DEX210's at our local indoor track.

We race every Wednesday on carpet with 15sec. lap times and there are boards between the lanes.
If you make a mistake and tap or touch or scrub or crash into the boards with one of your wheels, the 410's ball cups pops off more than half the time. The cups pop off on the front end the most.

There are 4 DEX210's with HD ball cups at our track. one of them is me. so far.. popped twice and the other time the whole turnbuckle flew off.

The marshals are so use to it, that they actually pop them back on for us so that we can continue racing.

I love the car and how it drives, I will keep it that's for sure. I guess I will have to try to find the best fix for me.

I've only raced the 210 once. Once the race started, I didn't touch the boards and I won the D main. lol Not so good in the C main. Finished 5th I believe.

Ok guys I get it about the ball cups. I just purchased the car. What breaks besides ball cups on the car? Is there something else I really need for parts?

i broke a shock tower. and since spares are available I would get the works: arms, hubset, and bulkhead set.

ok, so my 210 will be here friday so here is what i am gathering needs to be addressed right off the bat, yes i could probably search it but this is much easier!

rear shock tower is weak so i will immediately make a new one and nip that in the bud!
ballcups are suspect but it seems that aligning them and pre-threading the holes helps alot, which makes sense.
what is the final verdict on the wheel hexes and wheels? do i need to make some adapters with different size hexes?
i already have the ID clips coming from mcmaster for the ball dif issues, is that all that is needed? what size are the dif balls?

has anyone in America even bothered with mid-motor?

Wow, im a little shocked that i cant get some simple answers, is this thing on or did i miss a memo or something?

I have a feeling that the garodisc and 2 stage pistons will allow the mid-motor setup to work! Matt will also be doing some testing for RCshox as well. so expect some good Rango stuff coming soon! i cant wait for friday to come!

Default Parts!!

Finally some replacement parts are in! I got a call from my insider at my LHS so I ran off to get stuff. We have arms, rims, front end parts, shock shafts, diff gears, top shafts, etc. Hang in there. Help is on the way!
