Does anyone know if there is a narrow front wheel that fits the DEX210?
I fitted the DEX210 front axle to my Schumacher but I have some narrow front tires for carpet racing and am hoping I can use the tires and not have to change the axle every time I race carpet.

Unfortunately no. But you can cut the wheel to fit the tire without much problem.

outside |x|__________|x| inside

the "picture" above represents a normal wheel as viewed edge on. The x's represent the tire bead. What you do is cut off the inside bead channel from your wheel to end up with something like this:

outside |x|_________x| inside

The bead on the outside of the tires gets mounted to the bead channel as normal, but the bead on the inside of the tire gets mounted in the channel where your foam usually sits.

If you search around you might be able to find better pictures, but this is what I did to mine and it works perfectly fine.

I ordered the Exotek carbon chassis, but i talked to a guy running a dex210 at my track and he was running the Finnisher body with the v1 sideguards on a v2 +8mm chassis. You can do that right?

Is there a way to lower the chassis more than simply fully loosening the shock collar?

I went to a carpet race and during a qual a fast guy picked it up and shouted up to me that it was way too high. On the table it was 98% slammed so I lowered it the rest of the way, but during the race I could see the chassis's being way lower than mine. What are people doing that is getting them so low?

Harder springs and get it down to the 18-20mm height range

example of Jorn on carpet at 2014 EOS

Using the -2 spring retainers in TD330600 is one way.

so, with the outdoor season looking to start up, anything new on the durango front for the buggy?

Looking to probably be the lone wolf here durango wise unless I switch, but the platform is so far so good.
