With my Sonic 8.5 im running a 76/25 with slight boost on speed control. Thing is a beast and does not get very hot. Im sure in summer i'll have to change things and move back to an 81.

That would be great...I just got done building the new shocks and I noticed 2 caps had small cracks that come with the kit so I had to order another set... ill try tomorrow to see if 22 caps will fit tomorrow..thanks for always answering my questions jp

Servo horns and servo saver...

So I just stripped my servo horn and was wondering what folks use on buggies to help prevent this? Is this just common and I should keep a bunch in stock? I'm afraid that without a servo saver I might end up busting the gears in the servo so maybe I should look into getting plastic ones?

We run the aluminum servo arm off of the TLR 22 as I have not yet seen the TD arm yet. If you have a quality metal gear servo the bellcranks will break before the servo breaks. But of course the simple solution is to not crash... if only it were that easy.

It's the length and offset that make the "fit". I cracked one from a 22 last weekend. I installed the alum 22 version, works perfectly.

Yes servo won't break first the plastic arms will. If it were possible I would run a massive servo with no saver even in 1/8 .
But I also stripped the stocker quickly and put the losi futaba type aluminum horn on the 1258 in that dex210. The losi fits like a glove exact copy of the stock....

For those interested in a +8mm chassis let me know, 'm starting a waiting list that will be contacted once I get the chassis.

On another note, what running weight is everyone at? I'm at 1560g with a losi shorty, a 1251 servo, tekin rs esc, futaba s-fhss, epic motor and amb pt (not the new little one) with no added weight yet, thats in 4g rm mode. Does that sound right? with a full pack they must weight alot.

bare aluminum, cf would cost a fortune, and I don't have the resources to make a big enough batch to do hard coating at a resonable cost and normal ano would wear and look bad after a couple races. The price will most likely be $50 plus shipping.

No weight. Car is heavy enough as it is. Play with battery placement before adding weight. With a full pack I can get you a very good balanced setup, but the car will feel sluggish.
