Bit late to the party; but was looking at (and admiring) some MM and RM EXOTEK options for my V1 (+8mm alloy chassis)
Any thoughts based on trying out these...
DEX210V3 MM CHASSIS CONVERSION, 7075 DEX210v3 MM CHASSIS CONVERSION, 7075 - Exotek Racing
or
DEX210 REAR MOTOR HRC BULKHEAD CONVERSION DEX210 REAR MOTOR HRC BULKHEAD conversion - Exotek Racing
was thinking of cobbling together enough of the necessary parts to make one of each ... any experiences to relate ?

I would personally go with the full Exotek v3 aluminum conversion. It's much more stable on the higher grip tracks. And I have two brand new Exotek conversion kits if you're interested.

I too am looking for any rollers or parts lots. I just picked up a DEX210 and will need lots of parts to keep me racing into the future. If anyone has anything reasonably priced, please shoot me a pm.

I have poured through this thread but haven't been able to determine what the differences are between the various DEX210 models.

Is is there a simple guide somewhere on the interwebz that shows V1 through V3 differences? I'm not even sure which models I have at this point.

*Edit - I found this article which shows the differences between V1 and V2. Now I'm looking for info on the V3 edition.

I have several DEX210's and two DESC210 that I would sell....I don't race as much any more since I race a full size car.

Does anyone here have a DEX210F they'd like to part with? Now that it's gone, I'd kind of like to have one.

A guy has been trying to see one in the for sale section for awhile. If I remember right, the price was decent.

I found it and bought it. Now let's see how well I like it. I'm actually scared that I'll love it. I still believe that although this design layout didn't take off, that it's got a ton of merit.

Hopefully someone here is still driving a 210. I'm having an issue I've never had before and I'm stumped. I'm putting a slipper back on and I can't get it to work. The center section of the slipper plates hit each other before it gets tightened down. Once that happens, there's no amount of tightening that matters. It can't physically squeeze the spur and slipper pads at that point. I'm stumped. I've been staring at the manual and parts and am at a loss.

hi fred, i‘m not driving my durangos any more, but i can remember, there was a problem at the dex210v1 with the slipper unit, the layshaft spacer(those little tube) was not hardend and got worn, this was changed since the version 2, also the two little shims where put behind the inner slipper plates, as the v1 had only one. I also used AE high torque slipper pats in my 210, they fit tight, but do fit. May that helps?
What brand of spur do you use?
