Or you could just buy a DX3S. Granted it doesn't measure single cell voltage, but it's also a lot less cumbersome.

the dx3s has a short range, 100-200ft, plus the audible warning feature that these have are nice.

it is low bandwith intense as well so it will not interfer with other 2.4 systems like eagle tree or video cameras will.

another thing is your pitman can hold it if you have one.

plus as far as I can find on my dx3 is it is for your rx pack, not your lipo?

I'll be getting one for my giant scale and gliders as well considering the amount of lipos in them and I dont have telemetry on any of my plane tx's, the only thing worse than hitting the lvc on sailplane that is 1000ft in the air is hitting it on a 25% aircraft thats doing a harrier 20ft off the ground

The DX3s does both rx and car battery (through the receiver), but good point about the pit man. I guess I didn't think of him holding it. Great idea.

You think that Spec RX can handle 25 volts
I would not mind one of these. I spend alot of money on my lipo's. I can think of a few times this would have been handy.

Wow I just read about the 1km range. That in itself is very impressive.

now that can come in HANDY !!! as you can push the car to it's limits and not be "Thinking"
"I Wonder If I Have Enough Battery Left?"
you just Drive!! ...or Fly
and your pit man does the thinking

How can the DX3S do that when the only voltage it sees at the reciever is the voltage provided to it by the ESCs BEC...

That voltage meter is awesome!

Oh yeah, why would you need a pit man in electric off road?

When you run 30-40+min mains with nitros.
