We don't have this class yet but I have talked about it with some of the other racers. Some think that I'm out of my mind for wanting try this class but some think that it sounds fun.

I think that it would be really neat seeing some Hoppers, Hornets, etc. mixing it up again.

Thats exactly what I said the first day I raced SCT. 1/10th scale got gay when the bumpers and nerf bars disappeared. I've tried it a few times and it was allways boring to me.

Now that the bumpers are back in the Slash/SCT/Corr class 1/10th seems like fun again.

The SC10 is the new Hornet.

You can always come down to Connecticut and race at the Vintage Off Road Nationals.

Classes:
Pro 2wd Buggy -- Losi XX, RC10, Ultimas
Pro Stadium Truck -- RC10T, Losi LXT etc.
Classics Class -- Hornets, Frogs, etc.
Heavy Metal -- Clods, USA 1, Blackfoots
4wd Class -- Holeshots, Lazer ZX, Top Force

All classes are run with 17.5 BL motors or 27T stock motor, and all classes must be Pre 1994 to qualify...

Last year we had Sixty Some entries, this year we had 91 entries, and it's still growing...

be a nice once a year taste of the past. on a wkly basis i believe vintage parts and pieces breakin or wearin out, and the natural progression of folks wantin to be fastest would hurt it. not to mention how many classes are out there now. even dirt oval guys look at offroad and wonder why they get grief bout how many classes they have.

I was just talking to a couple fellow racers about this over the weekend. With Tamiya re-releasing a lot of classic buggies, it would be cool if the tracks would have a vintage class. Baja Champ for me

I would LOVE to see a Tamiya Hotshot, Marui Samurai buggies racing side by side!

You are correct. We have though about doing one race a month. A different day then our normal racing days. Nothing but vintage or reissued vehicles...

My local track just ordered a couple lunchbox's and grasshoppers.

I am defintely interested.
