I would start with the 15T, and check your temperature after a few minutes. I am pretty sure you can run alot higher without overheating if you can use the speed. If it works out fine with the 15T, I would pick up more pinions of larger sizes and go up until you get all the speed you need while checking temp often. Dont let it run over 180F and you can gear however you like.

I would not try it, but it would prob be ok. Definitely not going to be covered under warranty.

Why would you do this? burnineyes is right, if you use it outside its specs, it won't be covered.

But why would you need to use a 2200kv 8th scale motor in a T4? The T4 is pretty lightweight and 2WD. My B44 is a pig compared to a T4...

are you talking about a 1/8th scale truggy? People used MM and pushed it to its limit before the MMM came out for 1/8th scales.

One of the big difference between the Sidewinder and the MM is the maximum current rating... Sidewinders are a "light" version of the MM. MM is like a light version of the MMM...

If you're doing 1/8th scale, just get a proper 1/8th scale ESC... I wouldn't risking a nice Sidewinder for it...
