Default Tires from Ebay

Anyone ever get any of the tires from this guy?

http://cgi.ebay.com/NIB-Big-Blocks-B...d=p3911.c0.m14

They are cheap as hell. For complete set all glued up. It doesnt seem like a name brand but for my brushless buggy to shred up they should be perfect.

Heck yea. They have all different rims and tire combos. Look up his other auctions. Slicks and stuff.

If you get more than one shipping is only $2 a pair. Its a steal. I just didnt know how the compound was or if anyone had tried them yet.

I bought some about 2 years ago. For the price you can't complain, but don't expect to race competitively with them, the cheaper ones are way too hard. The foams are also really cheap, but heck what do you expect at that price. He does sell some softer compounds, but then the price doesn't seem as good. I used them for bashing and still use them to test things when I'm not on a track. He also sells some crime fighter knock offs that I used to practice with but honestly they are even too hard for that.

Hum. I was looking at the crimefighters hoping they would work at our hard clay track. We use Switch 2.0 Clay at our track.

Im sick of gluing tires. But to rip these things up in the back yard or street and be bald in a day or two they are a deal.

Bash only. These tires are xtr compound or harder. Worthless on hard pack clay! I have that same set your looking at, In gravel and grass they are awesome! They also make a cool howling sound on the road!

alot of harder tires will get soft if you roll the tire in traction compound and give it a spin while holding a lighter to it.

Also note that the spoked rims crack easily, and it's hard to fit a hex wrench to screw on the nut. Great for bashing, definately not for racing.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy them pre-mounted...

The rims are junk, but what's worse than that is the inserts will disintegrate & ball up on one side of the tire & throw it way out of balance.

I have a set of Crime Fighter knockoffs smooth dish, & for an inexpensive full set mounted they were a good idea at the time.

The harder tires aren't bad on a tacky track, & I'd like to try the soft ones...
If you plan on bashing around they are by far the best deal around.

I have bought all 3 types of the knobby style. Get the PRO version if you want to use them at the track as they are alot softer and grip somewhat well. The crimefighter version in PRO compound is what I run. For the price can't beat it.

i have those tires/wheels and they last pretty long and have great grip (for bashing). The rims look awesome as well. And i received them 2 days after my purchase. GREAT deal. I think that they are badlands, not knockoffs. I compared the two and they are identical.....
