As mentioned, If I happen to try the Tekno V4 conversion kit on the MP9E, what body will fit the new chassis? Thanks

I want to buy a new buggy and run it as an ebuggy this winter and convert to a nitro buggy in the spring. Should I buy a MP9e and convert it to an MP9 TKI 3 later or buy a TKI 3 and convert it to an MP9e for now?

You can't buy the MP9E cuz it disconnected. I think if you have money buy the TKI3 and convert to Electric in winter and back to nitro in spring.

TKI2/3 chassis are direct fits. You just need to buy the sideguards for which chassis u buy. That's the only difference. Everything else is a direct fit.

The guy from Amain hobbies told me that the TKI chassis doesn't fit my MP9E it only fits the MP9 only, If I use this chassis, I have to change the driveshafts. So confused

I was in the market for an 8th scale car, and the MP9e was going to be the one, but now that they prematurely discontinued it, I am going to buy a ZX-5 FS2 SP and call it a day. I want a Kyosho 8th scale, but since they have given up on elecro and remain nitro I will get my 4x4 drive fix with the ZX-5.

It fits... at least mine did. I was using the TKI chassis before changing to the TKI 3. All of these with mp9e standard parts. Only the sideguards were different.

Hey Namltu. This is my MP9e with the TKI chassis. It ran fine and never had any problems. I dunno why Amain said you would need new driveshafts. I never had problems but Amain usually knows what they are talking about.

And here it is with the TKI3 chassis. Haven run it yet butit fits just the same, at least when judging by sight.

The twins are complete...

TKI3 MP9e and TKI2 MP9e.... The TKI2 is equipped with CSI upgraded JQ Thecar shocks because the Kyosho ones are on my Sworkz. Can't wait to see how different these 2 drives.

Hi Tak, Love it. I will give it a go then. Just to confirm my is MP9E electric (not the MP9 conversion). What body did you use? I am thinking using Jconcept MP9 body.

Yep, the car with the orange wing is a standard MP9e on a TKI3 chassis . The body is an AE RC8Be body.
