Point taken mate...Cheers.

Kyosho MP9e but the hard one (IFB007H). The regular/thin one is very fragile (IFB007).
Anyway, I improve it with fiberglass glued with shoegoo behind the pillars. That makes it much stronger.
It is quite roomy for 4S.

I recently got the tki4 nitro buggy and am interested in getting the mp9e. Not to start a war or anything but is the weight of the mp9e the biggest disadvantage of running the mp9e ? Thanks. It would be nice to run both mp9 platforms.

Which battery are you referring to? Reedy? I think they are 38mm high?
I'd love to run the nitro body

Been running these https://www.amainhobbies.com/team-or...i14084/p485234

Think Reedy's are the same size.

Weight doesn't win or loose races in 1/8. This isn't 17.5 blinky.

...true, lol

the placement of our added weights does though

Before switching from Kyosho, I had raced the MP9e in every iteration and was never at a disadvantage, weight / performance, or any other way. It is a safe buggy to run, very planted and forgiving of driver errors.

Can't go wrong with the MP9e!

Hi, I have done a electric conversion (TKI4), but the center diff posts don't align. In the conversion manual, it says use the standard front upright??? Any suggestions???

Yeah, like others have stated that's the rear upright. The first picture has the truggy top plate as well. Its a little to long.
