Was there ever a MP9 TKi3 ebuggy released? or was the only option converting it over?

If so, what is the difference between a KYO converted TKI3, and the new MP9etki?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure the MP9e TKi is the same as the MP9 TKi3 as far as the basic car has evolved (with the ebuggy being a fairly recent product compared to Nitro thats been around forever).

The MP9e TKI is an electric version of the MP9 TKI3

Right, but i am also checking out some nice clean used cars, one of them is being called a TKI3, but is an ebuggy. So i am trying to understand the difference if any btween a converted TKI3 and a MP9E TKI.

If someone converted a genuine TKi3 to an MP9e, you'd have an MP9e TKI

I just put a Proline bulldog (2012) body for the nitro MP9 on my MP9e and it fits great. It is also much thicker than the K body.

Hey guys, I'm new to 8th scale racing, but not 10th scale. I'm learning all of the new settings this car has to offer, but mainly I am having issues with the front tires ballooning. I am running the "standard" setup that most seem to be running with 5/5/3. I was told to go to 5/6/3, which I did, but it didnt really fix it. The issue, I believe, is that the motor I have is just ballistic for whatever reason.

I have the R8 Pro, and 1900kv VST2. During our 10 min main last night I didnt even get to make it last 10 min with an Orion 6400 and 3 practice laps (35-37 sec lap times). The car is hard to drive because it does not feel linear at all, but very punchy instead. I have turned the power down on the ESC with no real great results because the power doesn't just start smoothly, but abruptly. Hard to be smooth with a lightswitch. I run for Orion so I have to run these parts, but it's pretty hard to run a car that has instant power and balloons the front tires on anything passed 75% throttle.

Any help with this?

Sounds like your ESC is not calibrated to your radio. Recheck that, the power should be smooth as you squeeze the trigger. May be easier if you set the radio & ESC to factory settings & start from scratch.
