Hi , im in need of sum advise .......
Iv jst built a 1/8th brushless buggy , im using a 1/8th losi excelorin esc and a feigao 6xl motor
Wat would be the best battery to use ?? the esc has a 5s limit and the motor draws 110amps ....
I was thinkn i might run two 2s lipos 5000mAh 30c much cheaper than 1 4s of equal specs ect . I just dnt know if i can do this or not ???? How would i connect them up ??
Here sum pics of my set up

Here is the battery that I am using. Pretty hard to beat for the price.

The 6XL motor is higher KV. Appears to be a 2779KV. I run a Castle 2650KV motor and it is fast and raceable with a 3S1P battery. I use the Zippy Flightmax 5000mAh 30C battery (from Hobby City) and it runs a 10-minute race fine. Borrow someone's battery first to test out your setup - don't blindly buy stuff without at least trying various options.
If you run a 4S1P battery, gear it down low (10 or 11T pinion to start) and monitor heat closely in the ESC.
My son runs a Fiego 10XL in his buggy with 4S and it's a little slow compared to competition, a 9XL would be perfect at 1900KV.

Alot of people have used the zippy's with good success.
I personally run Epic IP5000mah 40C 4s2p, but these are like 130.00 each.
If jmcvicker is correct about the motor being a 2779KV motor, then 4s might be a bit much... You will definitely need to watch heat and gear it down.
3s would be perfect.

If you race, with a 4S lipo on that high of a KV motor it will be too much. I don't think you can gear down low enough to make a difference. 3S will get you were you want to be.
The zippy packs are great but make sure you velcro it to the bottom of the chassis as well as using your straps because they tend to crush easy. You do not want it to move in the tray at all.
