Default Velineon VXL-3s TRAXXAS ESC LVC (low voltage cutoff) problem

Has anyone else had this problem? when the esc goes into low voltage cutoff on a fresh/new pack? i searched n this problems happenin 2 bunch of other people... i tried 6 different battery from my local track and esc still goes into LVC (low voltage cutoff) within 30 seconds of driving.

its not just yours, i've seen it happen a lot. It's a very known problem. Try calling traxxas and see if they can help you out. If not, look into a better esc (i know you didn't want to hear that)

What kind of batteries are you running? If you aren't running lipo's then turn the lvc off.

reset your esc if you are using nimah and if you are using lipo then talk to traxxas then will probably send you another esc

i already talked to traxxas n they want 45 dollars 2 fix it. yes im using lipos, tried many different ones same problem. yea i kno a lott of people are having same DEFECTED problem and traxxas shouldent make people pay 4 it.

Sounds to me you talked to a poor CSR. I suggest you call them back and speak to them again. Chances are you'll talk to a different person and may have a more positive experience.

I can't imagine they'd charge that much for repair of a defective item. Especially if it was defective out of the box.

I'm having this issue with mine now, I had them send me a new speed controller and same issue .. Is there a fix or is it time to upgrade to a new castle...my truck is 3 weeks old

I also only run the 3s lipos
