Novak HV6.5 is a 3400 Kv motor, so you're prolly going to want a 3S (11.1v) to generate the RPM's that the HV4.5 (5,000 Kv) generates on 2S.

3400 x 11.1 = 37,740
5000 x 7.4 = 37,000

SCRT10 and MMPro - thumbs up!

CAK,
those are rear offset wheels? they fit the width of the body well. i thought someone in here suggested you needed front offset to get to "normal" SC width
because they are all sold out and billy does not know when they are gonna get any

the Slash fronts giving you a little more track width
So wait, the Slash FRONT offset is actually wider once on the car? I thought it was thinner? and that's why everyone is using them to get it under the body. Maybe I had it backwards.

Slash Fronts are wider than the rears by 3mm. And both are wider than stock.

You made the right choice man. The jammin is an awesome truck. The 6.5 will be alright on 2s but you will have to gear it up some to get much top end out of it. Good news is it will handle pretty high gearing without heating up. I would start with maybe a 15T pinion. You should be able to go higher than that if you wanted. Just keep an eye on temps and gear up to where you are happy with the performance and temps are good.

Folks, my SCRT10 will be here next Tuesday. I am still REALLY confused as to what body and wheel combo is available for it, that is not the stock Jammin one. I thought I knew, but a few posts have thrown me off. I DO NOT want to use the stock SCRT rimz/tires.

So.....

if I keep the Jammin stocker body, what wheels and offset fits?
If I get a Blitz or SC10 body, what wheels and offset fits?

Anyone want to maybe make an easy list of stuff that works? Combos?

Sorry I am so confused.

indoors should be ok. Outdoors may need a tooth.

What are people liking for medium pack to loamy tracks? I run Goosebumps on my 2wd Blitz and like them. I don't run hardpack or blue groove much. I did once on GBumps and it was totally hooked. I'de love your thoughts pertaining to the SCRT specifically!!

Caliber
Bow-Ties
GooseBumps

What's the play for the SCRT? Does someone want to elaborate on all three? Maybe their individual strenghts?

I run Goosebumps on my Blitz and like them. Are the Calibers or Bow-Ties legit on the SCRT, or just stick with GBumps.

Sorry I am so confused.

I've got calibers on mine and they work well. Goose bumps work well too. I pretty much will run what works on my sc 10 on my scrt10.
