I talked to nitrohouse yesterday about this and asked about 3s and 4s and they think that 2s is more than enough with that truck. I guess the trucks in the video were powered by a mamba max with a 6900 kv motor.

That said, I have a traxxas ESC that is 3s capable, so I'm sure I will try that out at least once.

not bad looking. will be interesting to see how well this runs compared to say the Hyper version. I do like the chassis better on this version.

I have 2 E-CRT.5s. One is very stock including buggy wheels and runs on a Mamba Max and 4600. The other is close to 1/10 truck size including truck wheels and has run on a Novak 6.5R on 2S and a Medusa 50mm x 3300kv on 3S. The stock sized car, which is much smaller and lighter than a SCRT10 will be, is a little faster than a 1/10 truck with a 13.5. The bigger truck, still smaller than a SCRT10, when running on the 6.5 is about as fast as a 1/10 truck with a 10.5. The big sized truck with the Medusa on 3S is about as fast as a 1/8 buggy on 4S.

Cool!! I really think that the SCRT will be capable to hold up with a bigger power plant, and I want mine going "almost" as fast a my 8th scale.

I too have an eCRT.5 with a Mamba 5700 rig and it feels like a 1/10 scale truck with a 10.5 motor. That's fine for the smaller tracks. You really don't need much more than that. But I'm taking mine to 8th scale tracks as well, and I'm sure the 2S "mod 540 can" motors will leave you wanting more. It already does in my eCRT.5 and that is certainly lighter than the new SCRT with it's parachute body will be.

For those who wonder why eCRT's are always brought up, that is because that is what the SCRT is essentially. A streched chassis with a SC body. Nothing more.

I'll be doing 2S or 3S with a burly motor.

Is there a price on these guys yet?

I wonder if this shares common parts with the CRT .5. If they share a bunch of common parts, I just may have to get myself one.

The price is $249 and has been posted at Nitro house for a few weeks. It does share some parts with the .5, we're just waiting on a release date. Initially, they said November 5th. Here it is the 11th, no new info.

That was for the Hyper SC though right? I'm not sure the Jammin ever said Nov 5th did they?

Correct, Jammin never said November.

The Ofna should be shipping today or tomorrow, I called Nitrohouse last week.

I still haven't ordered mine though.

So far what I have noticed is:
The Jammin has neutral weight balance, c-hub front suspension, full mud guards, and plastic shocks.
The Ofna has front weight bias, threaded aluminum shocks, and pillow-ball front suspension.

Did I miss anything?

Nope, you nailed it. Those are the key differences. everything else appears very similar, save for the wheels and body.

Speaking of the wheels, does anybody know if the wheels for the jammin or hyper match any of the existing SC wheels? I'd be super happy if I can use my Blitz/Slash wheels on one or both of these trucks too.
