Default RC10B2 or B3?

I have bought a RC10B but cant tell if it is the B2 or B3. Is there anything I can look at to tell what it is?

Also, what bodies will fit? Will the RC10B4's fit?

It's difficult to tell in a photo. I'm guessing it's a B2 if that is the original wing with the B2 stickers on it. Also the white plastic C hub carriers are not original parts. Possibly modified from an original RC10 or RC10T. The only two significant change made from the B2 to B3 was the suspension arms. On the B3 the arms are all the same length from hinge pin to hinge pin. I also believe the rear shock tower was slightly lower on the B3.

Looks more like a B3 than a B2, has the 3 hole front shock tower, the hinge pin/ball stud spindle carriers ( which look like RPM upgraded yellow items ) the wing could be off another car, the only thing that throws me off is the fact that the car has universals and all B3 team kits came with MIP CVD`s, whereas the B2 team kits came with universals, maybe it is a B2 thats been upgraded to B3 specs, it has the sway bar mounts on the front top plate so im guessing it could have been upgraded to b3 specs with the upgrade kit AE released back in the day, not sure if that kit came with CVD`s or you retained the old B2 universals, either way both cars are very similar with the B3 only having slight changes to keep it up to date at the time.

Easiest way to tell is by the front A-arms. Check out Tower's part # area. You can still get B3 bodies (which should also fit the b2. I"m pretty sure there were a lot of similar parts).

Yeah looks like the only B2 parts left on it is the rear chassis plate and uni joints, and probably still has the B2 rear arm mounts with 4-40 screws.

Spraydbysprague the rear shock tower on the B3 team and sport was the same as B2, only the factory team B3 had the lowered centre shock tower to suit that deja vu tu body.

Ah yes! That lowered shock tower and body were sold as a "Worlds Upgrade" package that also included the "wide" front wheels which are standard on all kits nowadays.

Check this out.
