PLEASE help a new R/C fanatic in town!!!
Hello, I am COMPLETELY new to the R/C car community. I think these hobbies are fascinating. I want to get an 1/5 or 1/8 electric off road car. I want it to be able to hit speeds of 40-50mph and be relatively reliable…..
What kind of maintenance is needed? All you do is plug it to a/c outlet, let the batteries charge, and go drive for 10 minutes?? What are servos? What do need is besides the car? What are some good extra parts to stock up and replace for maintenance? What kind of control do I need? I want to hit 40-50mph…..I have tons of other questions……
If anybody can explain to me everything about getting, what kind of maintenance, what car to buy for my needs ^^^^, that would be greatly appreciated!! I would even send you like $3 via paypal if you answer all my questions….
Please answer my newbie questions!
What kind of tools can take these cars apart? Allen hex key tools?

all your questions can be anwsered, but first where are you from, are there any hobby shops in your area, go there ask them, they should be able to set you up with tools, batterys, chargers, a tote bag, i not sure if anyone here is gonna know how many packs or what kinda of motor is gonna be needed to power a 1/5 off road ELECTRIC car. uummmm i wonder if a e maxx is considered 1/8, i'm just thinking out loud while nibble on your baited hook. uummm i know mrc used to make a 1/8 electric truck tell you what,, just wait here, i'll get back to you.
