I just opened my kit today, Im so excited to start this build! Of note...it comes with those sweet Blue Aluminum washers, but it lacks the SP Idler and Motor Plate.

More soon...

Yeah thats all nice and dandy, but that should be a no brainer! I dont think that tranny case is different is it? If they are going to charge 40+ more they should have included more goodies IMO

Im getting one anyway though lol

Couple of quick questions about the SP...

Do the changes at the rear mean the Proline-fit axles can no longer be used without messing up the geometry?

Can Associated springs be used on the shocks?

Mid-build impression #1:

The new steering rack is ~1mm thicker so the washer is no longer used under the ballstuds.

Also alloy turnbuckles (just not gold now, which I dont think appealed to eveyone), two different width rear suspension mounts (one normal, one wider), the new shorter axles, revised mid-arms (got rid of outer hole which no one uses and makes arm stronger), new body, new wings (3 piece high downforce set), steel suspension bushings (instead of the plastic) , revised ball cups, and new rear wheels

I am suprised they didnt include the ribbed motor plate though since its soo much better than the standard one (not just more bling). The idler gear could be the revised one just not moulded in black now? I've never used the black SP idler gear anyway, and have never had problems.

Mid-build impression #2:

The kit comes with the LAW39 Steel Sus Bushings. Its definitely a nice touch. The revised rear arms look good as well!
