the Sl@$h is cheep junk. just wait until some good SC10 setups are figured out, then all you Sl@$h guys will figure out that your just playing with a toy and thinking its a race car. It brings to mind all the guys racing Import cars, "you had to spend how much to make it as fast as a stock Mustang?"
I love stiring the pot!

At our local track Slash is a spec class so even if you have a sc10 you still have to use slash electronics (except Radio,Receiver) and slash tires. This
keeps the racing tight and it comes do to driving skill. But this also creates a lot of bashing with that in mind I'd rather drive the TANK.

Back to original question
I have both and when conditions are right (high grip) my SC10 with a 27t stock will run all over my stock Slash. The Slash is easier to set up, I only changed the shock oil, and is real consistant as track conditions change. A better tuner could make the SC10 better under any conditions. I am not a good enough tuner to keep up. If they would reprep and water the track before each heat the SC10 would be perfect.
SC10 I carry 2 sets of rear shocks, for dry/loose I use #2 pistons, 30wt and black springs, bones slightly below level, and wet/tacky I use #3 pistons, 25wt and green springs, bones level. Front is always #1 pistons, 35wt and silver or blue springs. I will try adding a bit of weight next under the batery foam on the rear.
The Slash I changed the shock oil to 50wt front and rear and have never changed. When I switched to Li-po I added 2oz under the speed control and it is still there.
Maybe I just need to learn how to drive better. Sorry for the long post.

This is the first year for the class and the rules are tight.
There will be a SPec Slash class - Slash only, titan motor and Slash tires
Also there will be a Short course class - Corr stlye trucks, 17.5 brushless motors
Im running my sc10 for fun in the Short Course class
And my T4 in stock truck class
Entries last season hit 130 so we will see.
