Thanks to all who suggested the JConcepts Goosebumps tires. I took some out to the track today and it was like night and day over the stock tires.

how thick is it? and does it make it hard to mount the front bumper?
It is .064" aluminum.
Bumper/skid plate goes right on, either under like the picture or over the brace which is what we're doing now.
It's only 10-12 grams.

Does anyone have any pictures of the J Concepts Truth body mounted up? Any pros or cons to this body compared to stock. Curious what it looks like as I have the Ivan Stewart Red/Orange/Yellow Toyota racing scheme ready to go on something.

I also have a couple of Factory Team blue front hinge pin braces I am not using. Part number 9665. One opened one not. $11 shipped in the usa.

if you're worried about it.....don't drive in wet or really dusty condtiions lol...but, if that's not possible adn you have a race...you could just get a very small tuperware container...and drill holes for the wiring and just RTV around the wires. you could take the lid off in good conditions or indoor tracks...and then for dusty/wet you could put the lid back on adn be waterproof....but you'll risk some heat, but if properly geared it shouldn't be a problem

Here it is

The JC bodies are a little thicker than the stock AE bodies.
