What's the word on the new Thunder Tiger Buggy? Is anybody running it, or is it not available yet?

As far as Ofna, I also think they bring a good product for the money, or value for dollar, etc. But I wouldn't seperate them or compare them to Kyosho. Especially considering that Ofna is an importer and doesn't biuld or design much of what they sell. They use Ho Bao and Hung Nor for thier vehicles, and even the new X1 is not made by Ofna, but by Ho Bao(i'm told not hung nor?) as is the Hyper 7......Jammin Jay flew to Taiwan(several times) to aid Ho Bao in the development and manufacture of the X1.

Basically, they are ALL toy companies, but we benifit when things are competitive and there are more to choose from....Watch late this year when Kyosho starts importing their line-up themselves and Great Planes has thier mitts off of it....I'd guess a 777 that is $640 now will be $540 when that happens..............They are all good, imo.....Jim

Where can I get Fusion batteries? A search turns up nothing...

As for Ofna buying their kits, thats interesting, and would explain a LOT. I still like their vehicles though, and they do still spend all their R&D time on nitro, instead of playing with toy planes and boats. I bet that the difference in a lap time between my Ofna and a 777 would be minimal. Although I've never seen a 777 run, so I may be wrong.

I'm leaning real hard on the S3. I am wondering how tough it is gonna be to get parts for it? Anyone know who is stocking parts for them?

I can tell you they have lots of parts at the distributor. I race for them and have check the inventory. They are set to go. As for your LHS, that is a different story. They are resposible for their own inventory.

I guess Im the only one who uses a standard 1100mah nimh pack I got 2 of them from onlybatterypacks.com through ebay 2 for under $30 shipped

OFNA makes some nice stuff but I think the durabilty of the parts isnt as high as kyosho and mugen

I think the Jammin buggy looks like a real contender but the guy Ive seen at my local track who owns one has broke it a couple times already

I would like to drive it though and see how well it handles compared to my K2 if it is as good or better I would consider getting one but I would bet I would need to spend some of the money I save on the included hop-ups on some spare parts

The one from ace is a PEICE. If you get it, be prepared to switch out the connectors.

HVAC, here is thier link....www.fusionbatteries.com

Aaron, ah haaa, that would explain the 9.5 wing mounts also fitting the X1, .......I couldn't remember which one made the hyper 7 and which made the 9.5............I did well with my Hyper 7, but the amrs felt a little soft and flexy. The X1 doesn't share that trait.

As far as durability, I have purchased a front and rear arm set for $10.00, w wing mount set for $8.00 and a spare fuel tank for $12.00..........I haven't needed any of them, even though I thought my first tank might be bad, but ended up being ok, once I found the real stalling problem(posted earlier)...But $30 for spares isn't too bad.....Jim

You know, you're right. one of my connectors did break, and I had to replace it! I thought it was a fluke.
