Its here guys. Here are some pics I took, and the first one is the actual box it came in, talk about being worried!

I was kind of suprised to see the wheels and foam in there the way they were, as if it was an after thought. so maybe they are just pulling out the other tires and wheels and throwing these in. Not that I am complaining.

The tires feel like M2 crimefighters, already got a set but may just hold onto these for future usage.

The shocks are HUGE. no baby ones here. Wider than my RC8T shocks for sure.

the buggy can with an aluminum futaba servo horn as the only option, I think my RC8T may have to do a donation here of its servo LOL.

For a strange reason, I got no manual, no addedum, zip, nada. I'll give ofna an email about that one. I did get a very nice catalog for all there stuff.

I really do like the bumpers on the buggy. Especially the rear. This should do a good job of protenting things.

Ofna could have done alittel bit of the trim they did on the ESC mount on the shock towers, would have given it a nicer look. Feels beefy thoug.

The center drive shaft is really thick. no messing around here.

There appears to be punisher turnbuckles on the front and rear camber links. The steering linkages though appear to be something different, similar to what I see on Academy's 1/10 scale kits, albeit, much thicker.

so far, very happy with what I got here. Though, I do wish they went with a better fitting body or drilled holes for some mud guards.

nice pictures. I was surprised by the tires too. I was expecting the ones that come with the nitro. Happy to get crimefighters though. I only got the nitro manual . They have a pdf on there site though. So far I am very happy with the buggy. As you said the shocks are huge (17mm), it also appears to be built well.

based on first impressions of what I got in front of me, for the money, I feel like I got good bang for the buck with this being a new kit.

I actually think I could fit my AE body up on the chassis without much modification, just trim the front and bit and punch a new hole and it should work.

That part might take a bit , I still need my electronics to come back from both Neu and Castle before I can do anything here. It at least gives me a chance to give this a nice full teardown and rebuild.

Fitted my PQ6000XP 4S pack in there. the wires were kind of snugged up against the battery tray wall, and I will need to either cut the spacer block or do something else to tighten things up, the tray is that long.

anyone got any info on this:

Answer-RC Hyper 9 STS - Simplified Toe Sytsem Rear Higne Pin Plate
Designed and manufactured in a state of the art facility all our options have been extensively reasearched and tested..
Any option part we produce must be an improvement over stock, its either lighter, stronger, simpler or improves life with the car in some other way.
These are not parts developed for show but for Go!

Hyper 9 Rear Toe plate. As stock the car uses a 2 pc system involving a bumper which is prone to getting tangled with other cars in the event of a coming together.
This simplifies the current set up making the car easier to work on, improving time taken to change toe settings and offering increased strength..

Marvin on rc-monster reported that this was an area of weakness on the Hyper 9 and he upgraded his hyper 9E right away.

Anyone know of a USA equivalent? wouldn't mind just getting it right away and be done with it.

I'm not sure if he's planning on doing anything with the Hyper, but you could call Mitch at M2C Racing and see if he'll whip something up for you. The upgrade parts he makes have been very good on all the other platforms (Kyoshoso, Jammin, etc..)

found the USA site on the Hyper 9 forum:

http://answer-rcusa.com/zencart/

I'll probably pick this up when it comes up in stock again.

Anyone take apart there diffs yet and see what orings are inside? heard they should be a certain color if they are the upgraded ones.

Just picked mine up, along with a RX8/1900kv that I got lucky that I scored on the for sale forum here. Mine came in the Losi 8ight box, too, btw. Can't wait to get it up and running.
