I was looking at the flyer and why not do a handout motor and run a "spec stock" class instead of breaking up all the different vehicle makes?
I am all for the Short Course trucks having a special event but geez, what truck should I buy if I want to attend the race?
I want this class to flourish, why run them all separate?
IMO Roar should have spec'd a tire and motor for this class to run as STOCK and then let open be open to motor-tire combos of their choice.
Good luck with your event I hope it does well but I’m not coming with 3 different trucks so I can figure out which is the biggest and best class to race in.

I thought once ROAR put some basic rules for the SCT class in the books that the class would start to resemble a more "typical" style racing class where manufacturer's compete against eachother on the track under the same set of rules. It wouldn't appear so seeing as this event is being labeled a "National" and the classes are still divided and some manufacturer's are being left out of the event entirely.
There is a lot of interest in the SCT class across the nation. The sooner we all get on the same page the faster this class will grow into a respectable type of racing instead of just a fun "filler" to kill time between the real classes. Don't get me wrong. I like the SCT class. I just don't understand the division of class by brand. Especially, at a National level where more eyes will be on the class and more opinions will be made regarding the way the class is represented.
