Default IS A TRAXXAS VELINEON VXL H2O PROOF?

OK I AM NEW AT THIS....I KNOW THAT THE TRAXXAS TITAN BRUSHED MOTORS ARE H20 PROOF. WHAT ABOUT THE TRAXXAS VELINEON/VXL SETUP? I HAVE THIS ON MY STAMPEDE AND DONT KNOW. PLEASE LET ME KNOW. THANKS

No it is not H20 proof. It is water resistant. If i were you i would keep it away from water or mud.

stampede vxl brushless=h20 resistent????



how can it be h20 resistant but not h20 proof??

come on bro. water ressistant means you could splash water on it and not mess it up. but if you were to submerge it in water it would mess it up. waterproof means u can dump it in water.

come on bro....i just dumped $250 on this thing and i want it to last. i live in washington, it rains allot. i wanna be sure. and to accomplish that i will go to a source where i know i can find a well rounded answer based on the opinons of many. so i come here. thank you though. so im good to throw paddles on and go bombing around in the snow?

thats probably not the best idea. i had a buddy with a slash just ruin his vxl esc cause of the snow.

ill keep that in mind....i find great pleasure from sunny days anyway. it can get rather mondain waiting for a suny day in western WA though.

Looking it up in the dictionary waterproof means something can be submerged for an extended period without damage while waterresistant means it can get wet but shouldn't be submerged or wet indefinately.

Ya i know how it is in washington LOL always raining. On those days go to your local indoor track and have some fun. It might not be the most track worthy truck but it is always a blast,

The new revo 1/16th scale has a water proof vxl brushless system in it.

It's not 'VXL as we know it' though, its a 1/16th sized ESC, so will pop if you try stick a 540 motor on it.
