Suggestions for new BUGGY?
Hey all,
I'm new to this site. I currently have an e-revo and this week expect my log awaited for new BL e-revo in from Traxxas. I am looking for a RTR Buggy now. I want something durable like my e-revo and in the same scale size. I'd prefer RTR, but open to suggestions. I was looking at the Losi XXX. What are the thoughts here? I saw Traxxas has the bandit VXL too, but is it any good? Any suggestions appreciated for steer my decisions to a good Buggy.
Thanks in advance....

The B4 is a great car, and although the RTR doesn't have a lot of the Pro upgrades, it will be a long time before you need the extra performance.
That is assuming you want a RACING buggy. If you want a basher, stay away from the B4, XXX, RB5 type cars. They are more expensive to maintain than a basher like a Tamiya.
My 2c

I don't know anything about Traxxas, not common in NZ, but Tamiya do some great cars now that are very tunable (is that a word?).
IMHO the AE and Losi cars are no good for bashing. I own a B4, and when i'm using it OFF the track, I always end up breaking stuff.
The Tamiya DF-03 is a good 4wd buggy. Cheap in it's basic form, but tons of hop-ups, and it can handle a fair bit of power. The DB-01 is the next "level" up in Tamiya, but not really necessary for bashing.
