Default What pitch is the Losi 16 tooth Pinion

Does anyone know what Pitch the Losi 16 tooth pinion is. Also is there another brand that will fit the MMM 2200KV motor?

Are you using the Losi motor plate? I have noticed that some pinions may hit the stock Losi setup because the grub screw sticks out farther than the Losi pinions. The Losi pinions use a 3mm screw where all the other use a 4mm. RC-Monster, Robinson, Novak, and a few others make Mod 1 pinions with 5mm bore for the 1/8th scale size motors.

Yeah I have a 8ight-E with a standard pinion and standard 45 tooth spur gear.
I'm running the MMM gear in it.
I find the only problem i have with the Losi Pinion is the grub screw, it doesn't seem to tighten on the shaft properly and then the grub screw will round off if it's done up to tight.

I went with a Novak pinion because of this. Novak's have a larger grub screw which you can tighten down better.

Everybody except Losi uses 4mm set screws. I can't figure out why they didn't!
