Default LRP 13.5 SS orange ring stripped..?

Well I just got a used LRP 13.5 stock spec from a member on here When I got the motor I went to take it apart to clean.... The three long screws that screw into the orange ring seemed loose. So when I went to tighten the screws they just kept spinning. Like the ring they screw into is stripped. Anybody ever have theres strip like that? I just wasted my money on this for a trophy race at CRCRC next weekend and planned on using this a the Midwest champs also.... I dunno what to do. Seller says sol....I'm soo pissed Can these things come apart so I can inspect and maybe fix? I have 2 other LRP's that I can snug no prob. Where as this one is stripped out of the package he sent. I'm afraid to run it in offroad cuz the can will seperate...

One of my LRP Vector X-11 motors had 2 out of 3 screws "spinning freely" right out of the package.

Send it back they will repair/replace it.

Thanx, but it looks like they mean speedos only. I'm soo aggravated. I'm thinking about sending this back to the seller so he can use it as a paper weight.

What we service

Only those LRP products imported by Associated. This includes select models of LRP speed controls, receiver, and chargers.

All LRP items we currently carry are listed on our web site.

We don't service LRP items purchased outside North, Central, or South America.
New Products, LRP electronic

just call and explain your situation, there may be a charge, but its gonna be cheaper the buying another one

I will call AE/LRP today.
Seller tells me "not his problem." The flaming shall begin soon.

Well I called AE today and they said there is no way they can fix it. It's something in the design.
I feel like I've been screwed by shadow102.
He refuses to admit he sent me a bad motor and says it's was fine when he shipped. Why would I lie? This guy gave me bad feed back for fast payment also?
I will post this in the feedback forum for all that have read this so that this he doesn't this to anyone else.
