It does not have an integrated balancer. You would need to purchase something like an Electrifly Equinox.

My son is using an Onyx 230 combined with a Blinky balancer and it is working great. I think they are a good charger and very reasonably priced. If my Hyperion ever fails me I would likely go wiht the Onyx 230

Yes I believe it is the same as the Ice and most other lipo charters as far as time to charge. I think the 230 can handle up to 6 amps if I remember correctly.

you can get the charger anywhere. the wrap he was showing was from Upgrade-rc.com

I got an Onyx 230 as a cheaper alternative to an ICE when I went LiPo, those things just have way too many features I'll never use on them, more stuff to get screwed up. So far the 230's been an awesome little charger, once you get the menu system figured out and the charger set to your batteries, it's cake to charge LiPo packs. And even though it's only being cooled off by a teeny tiny little fan in the side, it never gets more than slightly warm to the touch when running on AC power.

It gets 5-stars from me

They are not pictured, but when you select charger wraps, you can select Duratrax Onyx 230. I just ordered mine.

Got my wrap. Makes this charger look decent IMO. Great fit. Only complaint, the buttons are not labeled.

I removed them first thing and plugged the hole with a piece of foam. I don't plan on using the DC input and the wires get in the way.
