I guess I am confused for I use braking to correct me buggy in the air! Brakes and diff oil are kinda tied but brakes are what does it, mostly. Try 40 -50% and just sneak up on it. Cheers!

if you're nose up brakes help, but if you're nose down, power can pull it up

Right, thanks genius! Use 5k, 7k, 2k in yer diffs. Try Smart Diff in da center if track is tight and/or bumpy. The thing is that until you get yer e-buggy to drive like a Nitro it will never behave as such in the air. You simply have to tone down many of the settings so that both power and brakes do not come on too strong.

Who of you use a metal 48 spur or a plastic 45 one ?

I know that if you use the 48 one you need to groove a bit the chassis , how much ? Does anyone of you raised the central differencial block instead ? If yes how did you do that and much in mm ?

thanks

Rc-monster Is finally releasing a Losi 8ight specific battery tray. Quality is top notch, Metal inserts for all bolt holes, Cnc Plastic tray that you could land a plane in, Mounting holes for the Tekin Rx8, and the traxxas Mamba monster hold down. 11inch single battery strap etc etc.

I had the losi Battery tray in my buggy, it doesnt stack up

Here are some snaps of my new(to me) truggy

Losi 1.0
Castle 2200kv, MMM, 4s lipo, 15/48, Ds 1015

Buggy is a 1.5R
Tekin 1900kv, Rx8, 4s Lipo, 17/48, Airtronics 94357

Took second this past week, ignore the face, it was really sunny

Droop is a measurement of how far the arms fall below the chassis. This is basically the down travel of the shocks. There are set screws in the arms by the diffs that allow you to adjust the amount of droop. Screw the set screw in and this will decrease droop. Unscrew the set screw in the arm and this will increase droop. You can do this for the front and rear. On most losi setup sheets "droop" will be measured by the total length of the shock mounted ON the car. The shock may have more travel in it but with the droop screws hitting the chassis the shock can only go so far.

Hope this makes sense.

I know the tekin 1900 on 4S is a lot of motor but not tooooo much. I don't know of anyone running the MM 2200 in a buggy on 4S.

I run the 2200 on my 8ight-b. It's a bit too much power and a torque monster.

I can get 15 minutes on a 5400mah 4S lipo. I am a conservative driver though. I prefer the 1900 since it is a little more controllable.

I run my 8ight-E b with Orion 2050KV. Has much torque than any other buggy at track.
