You are right, the TQ radio is past its prime. A 2.4Ghz radio would be sweet, but would probably drive the price way up. A redesign of the radio would be nice.

I was just alluding to the fact that you only have 4 frequency choices on the stock radio. In order to race with others, most people have replaced the stock radio/receiver with their own, increasing the number of racers that can race at the same time.

i already have a 2ph for it, a mamba max, ep's, 625mg servo(metal geared).
