Common guys. If you are visiting the track at least take some pics to share!

Track is closed this week except for racing Saturday evening.... then, the fence comes down Monday afternoon next week and then its open. We will run open practice up to Wednesday afternoon when Jimmy arrives and it'll be up to him how we control it...

but, I am hoping to figure something out to avoid the really long lines and peopel cutting in on practice times...

Ok. Is that schdule going to be posted on the SRS web site?

I think jimmy usually monitors the line and then imposes 5 min with 10-15 people on the track at a time. One person with one car in line. (You can have someone hold a spot for you in line but they will take your spot when the come back in. Basically you cannot hold two spots with one human body.) We will see what he does this year though.

Sorry for the quality...these were just some quick pics taken with my cell phone today during a lunchtime visit (from behind the chain link fence, no less). I'm sure it's further along by now.

Needless to say, it looks awesome in person. I'm liking the deep banking in the turns.

100% clay... LOL

Nope.... we didn't import any dirt in... we dug up (we, ha! Joey did...!!) and used the dirt we got. Its AZ dirt that came from pool diggings in years past... nothing special about it....

Track schedule.. I think Sean did post something about the fence being up and track being closed until Monday when the fence comes down. Tuesday will be a free for all and Jimmy arrives on Wednesday and the program gets tighter then.....
