wyd must be a lonely dude or have a LOT of free time because EVERY single thread on rctech that gets mildly hot or semi-confrontational you can bet he's going rush right in and give his opinion. And its usually the same one, the bit about give any idiot a keyboard etc., thats getting tired bro! Did you read the post where I PLAINLY stated that there was no problem here, I just DIDN'T WANT to use the Dremel? Do you EVER have anything positive to add to rctech wyd? Almost every one of your posts your slamming someone. If anyone wants to, click on wyd's name and search through his posts and you'll see EXACTLY what I'm talking about. This dude is bitter or has personal problems and comes to rctech to vent. Very sad.

This might be the funniest post on Tech. The ingreat who is not happy about someone going out of his way for him and others has the nerve to cry about it. If you bother to read those posts you will notice many others posting about the same thing as I did. I guess all those people posting have nothing to offer Tech either.

Even Johnnyboy called you out about not being fair. As per your smart ass post and I quote " for anyone who wasted money on these", I see others called you out so you better seach their posts. Go from complaining to a Thread Stalker!!!!!!!!!!!! That might a first. I might have to call my local police and tell them someone is stalking my posts. Now I feel in danger for my keyboards life.

Oh for your positive note: I actually took 5 minutes of time to fit in my lipo plate. It works great and makes your car act like it does when you have a 4200 or 4600 NIMH pack in. Best thing is the won't wear out.

i was going to sell my plates but now im thinking i want to cut one up and make weights for saddle pack cars outta it, so you can add "bumps" to the bottom of packs like the orion 4800 or trakpower saddle packs to fit better in cars like the zx5 or b44 that have "slotted" chassis.

when i get time to do it ill take pictures ill prob have enough for someone else to do it

Sorry for hijacking your thread johnnyboy, this will be my last post on it. For anyone who got the misconception that I was unhappy with the plates, I was not. And Johnny was right, I had no trouble selling them. If theres another batch of these made by all means get yourself one because they're great.

There were 2 CR's at the track today that got them to fit with minimal dremelling. Really clean looking. I'll see if I can get some pics of them.

Mine is still for sale, first pm gets it. I don't see how it would fit in a CR without a substantial amount of dremeling, which would make the top plate of the chassis that holds the battery down way too thin, in my opinion. I did dremel a small amount, but still had no luck. I use a Tekin 3400, pretty much same dimensions as a Orion 3200-3600.

johnnyboy- I would like to see the pics of the CR's you saw with them though.

Are there any of these still available? If not, does anyone know someone who makes them?

Mine got lost in the post. Boo......

johnnyboy sorted me out with a new one with out any hassle. I'm on another continent, so he could have told me that it wasn't his problem. But he didn't.

So in my book he's a really good guy.

If anybody is looking for one of these, I have one to get rid of. No longer have a use for it. I only used it a few times...
