Thats honkin, Look at the distance it travels in a couple of seconds when its wound up, I would easily believe its doing the speeds he says it is.

I have done a little racing both drag and some on a little track but the track is really crappy.. not smooth enough for this size really.. it's ok for trucks and MTs but it held up well to the abuse and this thing was born to drag race

I think the only parts I have broken was a stub axel on a high speed run got into a spin and smashed a curb, also broke my wing holders on a high speed wreck w/ my GPS taped in place it was a bit too much weight. Other than that my only issue early on was the rear ball diff that is stock is complete junk. I got a extra front diff housing built the rear diff just like the front except I used the rear diff gear, the bad boy slides right in and works perfect.. and I did upgrade to some better carbide balls.

Im using the spektrum telemetry pack but not had the time to set up the speedo yet ill give results when complete. in a D4 just using the temp sender so far.

EDIT. Yokomo diff bolts, thrust bearings, spring and i shimmed the gears not as the book said. running a 5.5 and no worries...
broke the fnt diff housing and had a peek at the bevels,,,like new OH yeh
the first bevels did what the book said, didnt last long.....

Ive used a shimm outside the diff house to push the pinon bevel in towards the bevel spur.

Bet not many people own a TC3"O" V3. ^_^ I have one, and it's a great car. I used to Academy buggies, both V1 and V2. I haven't own any other 4wds, but compared to the Academy, the TC3"O" is far superior in terms of quality and performance. Just my opinion. I haven't won any races with it, but then again, I'm a terrible driver. But the car allows me to be very competetative.

Got to give Jconepts a applause for coming up with that design, soon everyone will have it
