+1 for that.

Anyone else having issues with gearing? I have a Mamba Max 6900 and I couldn't gear it right with the stock 82 tooth spur so I went with an 86. My ESC gets about 190' and the motor is about 150'.
I think maybe you need to try the short chassis and let me borrow the long chassis this Sunday that would take care of your problem.

It was 91*+ Sunday, and fairly humid. Wait to see how it does on a "normal" day. If you were running NiMh I would say run 5 cells to tame it down some, it had WAAAAY too much power. Maybe switch to the 5700 motor.

I run a novak 6.5 and have an 88 spur with a 15 pinion. With brushless you should find the gear you like and go down one tooth.

"I HIGHLY recommend to use TL or Luunsford titanium ball studs in the alum rear hubs"

My LHS guy said that too, so I'm getting the titanium ones. Hopefully this will cure my "3 broken studs in one night" problem. I'm sure it will.

As for a new owners of the CR Truck, I wouldn't even put those in, because when they break off, that spot is toast. Losi doesn't even offer these right now either, so you'de (me) better be carefull with the aluminum rear hubs.

you can flip the hubs around to the other side of the car and you have one more shot at it. and also maybe not use the losi grey ballcups, try RPM stuff.

Here's my first and only beef with this truck. When you buy additional wheels you have to buy the adapter and the screws separately. You have to buy the wheel bushing and hex set to get the adapter ..... losa3102, and you have to buy the screws in another package... losa6236.
