You're like 40 pages too late. Losi didn't send any team drivers. Novak sent Truhe to Japan (and Losi pitched in).

Ronnie runs for Kyosho now. He switched right after the Hot Rod Shootout.

Even Losi Jr switched to Kyosho, so that makes perfect sense!

I remember a day when Losi was a contender, even a favorite a few times. But this year most were wondering if they would have a car in the main.

I guess Horizon intends to make sure TL is seen in the RC world as a great RTR company. That might be were the money is, short term, but it isn't were the heritage and the heart and soul of the founders is! They will drive the name down in a hurry if they don't find a way to seperate the division of RTR and maintain a racing team.

Does this now make it official that Associated "buys all the best drivers"? LOL I know when TL was winning that was the reason, not sure if it still is?

Haha

I thought I read somewhere that Team Losi is no longer called Team Losi. That in fact they dropped the team and now only go by Losi. That would tell you alot about where horizon is taking Losi. I wonder if there is any truth in that.

I haven't seen an equipment list from the worlds yet, but i'm sure the current winners sponsors will find a way to get it all over the place soon enough!

Of course Cavalieri, Amezcua and others have proven they can take any of the top brands to the winners circle, just like all the top drivers can. (Otherwise it wouldn't be so easy for them all to move around alot, ...)

I remember at the first Losi race everyone thinking it was so awesome that Cavalieri dominated and won all the classes he ran in his first year with Associated. Those of us who were there the year before were like, "he Tqed and won all the classes with TeamLosi last year too."

But the loyalty some customers will keep is awesome for the manufacturers who benefit from it.

Whatever brand we use now, is "The best!"

They have the Losi and the Team Losi products. Products under the Losi name are all the toys while The racing product is sold under the team Losi name.
