Can I use Ni-Cd overnight charger on Ni-Mh batts?
I bought a couple of overnight chargers for my racing packs so that I could get them cycled slowly pre-season or peaked out overnight before a race. I have NiMh (of course) batteries and these (HPI #9058, 120V plug into wall with a cord straight to battery) chargers say they are for NiCd. I havent had one a those in a car since my RC10, so I was sorta pissed that they sold this to me (I guess I should have looked closer). This hobby shop is nowhere near me so I am stuck with these now.
Am I missing something? Perhaps they knew full well that these would work on NiMh and didn't bother to mention to ignore the fact that it does not mention it on the lable...

My glow plug igniter has a 3000 Ni-HM in it and I leave it plugged in between races (Fri to Fri) with no problem! It came with a Ni-CD that went bad so I put the Ni-HM in.
BUT I'm not charging a 6 cell am I!!!!
=======
I have use this charger to charge one cell at a time (a 6 cell pack) to find the bad cell.
